It refers to a shipping method where a single shipment occupies the entire capacity of a truck. FTL shipping is commonly used in industries such as manufacturing and retail, where large quantities of goods need to be moved efficiently and securely. LTL stands for Less Than Truckload. It refers to a shipping method where multiple shipments from different customers are consolidated into a single truckload. Each shipment occupies only a portion of the truck's capacity, allowing businesses to share transportation costs with others. LTL shipping is ideal for businesses that do not need a full truckload but want a cost-effective and efficient way to transport their goods.
